At Bridgepoint Maintenance, our electricians help keep homes and residential properties safe, functional, and operating reliably. Every day brings a different challenge, whether it involves troubleshooting a loss of power, replacing a faulty device, correcting an electrical issue, or completing repairs that help residents get back to normal.
We are looking for experienced Electricians who can work independently, communicate clearly, and complete service calls with strong attention to safety and workmanship.
Our Hiring Process
Once your application has been reviewed, qualified candidates will receive an email within 24 to 48 hours inviting them to complete a pre-recorded online interview.
The interview helps us understand your electrical background, trade qualifications, areas of expertise, diagnostic process, tools, vehicle, availability, and ability to complete work independently before moving selected candidates to the next stage.
What Your Week Might Look Like
Service calls may include:
Diagnosing residential electrical issues
Troubleshooting outlets, switches, lighting, fixtures, circuits, and breakers
Repairing or replacing approved electrical devices and components
Inspecting electrical systems and identifying safety concerns
Testing completed work before closing the service call
Determining when permits, inspections, additional approvals, or specialized work may be required
Documenting completed work with clear photos and service notes
Updating work orders and job progress through our mobile work app
Travelling directly between scheduled appointments
Who We’re Looking For
This role is best suited for electricians who:
Have at least 5 years of paid electrical experience
Can complete electrical service work independently without supervision
Have experience diagnosing and repairing residential electrical systems
Understand electrical safety, code requirements, and the limits of their legal scope
Communicate professionally with customers and our operations team
Take pride in accurate troubleshooting and quality workmanship
You will also need:
Your own reliable vehicle
Your own electrical tools and testing equipment
A suitable smartphone for GPS, mobile work apps, photos, and digital work orders
Basic English communication skills
Reliable attendance and strong organization
Professional Qualifications
Preference may be given to electricians with:
Valid electrical trade qualifications
Strong residential service-call experience
Commercial service experience
Experience with troubleshooting, lighting, circuits, panels, and electrical repairs
Strong knowledge of electrical safety and code compliance
Proven diagnostic and problem-solving ability
Assignments are matched to each electrician’s verified qualifications, legal work authority, and approved scope.

Compensation is based on experience, verified qualifications, approved scope of work, and the type of appointment assigned.
